You Know How It Is - You
Love Reading Fiction But When Do You Get Time???? Snatching a few pages before sleep is not very satisfying. In fact, mostly its just a frustrating cycle: you want to read but your eyes start to droop and then close and you lose your place. Your eyes fly open as you struggle against the overwhelming urge to drift off. You try really concentrating but after a few more attempts admit defeat and close your book. You managed to read one single page. At this rate, it will take nearly the whole year to finish a 350 page novel. Hardly rewarding stuff. Remember when you used to whip through a novel? Devouring the pages in big greedy slurps until it was all gone? It didn't matter that the washing sat in the machine all weekend. Or that the dishes were left unwashed on the sink. You didn't have to work on the weekends. or kids to look after. friends and family could be juggled around your reading time. there wasn't always stuff that had to be done around the house. You could lose yourself in a book, no problem. And looking for something to read was fun too. All those Sunday mornings and lunch breaks spent roaming around your favourite bookshop. You'd come out with a great selection that you couldn't wait to start on. The biggest dilemma: which one to chose first? But that was then, before life really got going. Now reading is an indulgence that you can't seem to find time for. And that's a shame...because its official...

It's
time for
espresso
FICTION.
What the heck is that I hear you ask? You've heard of machiato, short black, cafe latte, capucino, bubacino, mocha...But espresso fiction. what the...?
Is it stories about coffee?
Is it coffee that talks? Is it a coffee so unbelievable you'll make up stories about it? Is it a fast story? Is it fiction with froth?
How about none of the above?
We were all in the same situation: exhausted and frustrated from trying to fit into our extremely busy lives all those things we used to do. Then one saturday morning it hit me. Short stories, good ones that were well written and got you in right off the bat, were a great solution for anyone who didn't have hours to sit around and read a novel. And sure there are lots of free websites out there offering short stories. But have you read any of those stories? Did you find them a satisfying read? I sure didn't when i went looking. maybe one in twenty was ok but i had to read through a lot of ordinary stuff to find something that engaged me. i'm sure you're like me and now that you're so busy would rather spend your scarce time reading rather than tracking down something to read. And no I don't write the stories myself. but i find them and i weed out the ordinary, the average, the cliched. and i'm left with the good ones. And then I share them with subscribers.
so... Do you want to...
